ACV's Sue Ely is quoted in a story about SB31, a bill promoting an alternative energy tax credit

JUNEAU - A bill that would offer tax credits to individuals tapping into geothermal power has expanded to include all types of renewable power, whether developed by individuals, companies or even public utilities.

"Ely said the credit could be a real start to reaching a goal Gov. Sarah Palin laid out in January - to generate 50 percent of Alaska's electricity from renewables by 2025."
